The health club on the Outer Banks

 

Our fitness center offers members and guests to the Outer Banks, state of the art TechnoGym fitness equipment, cardio equipment with built in cable tv screens, free weights, luxurious locker rooms and showers, certified personal trainers, circuit training and core training classes, yoga, and various opportunities to join walking and running clubs. TechnoGym fitness equipment, designed and manufactured in Italy, has been chosen as official supplier to the Olympic Games from 2000 in Sydney to the 2008 games in Beijing.

 

In addition to our TechnoGym equipment, we also offer:

 

Cardio equipment - treadmills with integrated television screens, elliptical trainers with integrated television screens, recumbent and upright bikes, rowing machine.

 

Stationary equipment - Smith machine, squat racks, cable stations, punching bag

 

Free weights - dumbbells from 5lbs to 100lbs, fixed barbells from 20lbs to 110lbs

 

Luxurious and immaculate locker rooms and showers are available to help you feel refreshed after a good workout.

Guaranteed to help you find your Abs! Class size limited to 8. Class held in the back of the gym.

Core Training Class - New Time

Wednesday 5:40 p.m. 6:30 p.m. Get in shape for the summer with some awesome core training with cardio blasts! Come prepared for outside training weather permitting. $10 members $15 guests.

 

Yoga Connection

Janice Moore of Indigo Yoga is offering Kilmarlic Health & Racquet Club members a discount for all classes held in her studio just south of the club. Members pay $10 per class (regularly $12) and may charge classes to their accounts at the club.

10,000 Steps Walking Club Promotes Weight Loss and Better Health on the Outer Banks

10,000 Steps Club The 10,000 Steps Club is a free club started by Wellness Director Lori Campbell. The club meets weekly for walks and monthly for motivational social meetings. The goal is for each member to build up to at least 10,000 steps per day using a pedometer. Counting steps with the club increases motivation to exercise while offering a great venue for meeting new friends and building accountability. Free walking and diet journals as well as a free Kilmarlic Water Bottle are included when you join the walking club. Contact loricampbell3@gmail.com for more information.

Personal Trainers on the Outer Banks

Friendly and professional personal training is available by the hour or in packages. Sport specific training (including running), nutritional counseling and youth conditioning programs are also available. Free fitness and nutrition orientation classes are held monthly. Meet our professional fitness staff.

 

Personal training rates
$50 hour members $60 hour non members Group training – 2 people $30 per hour per person, 3 people $20 per person per hour.

Don't want to spend the big bucks on personal training? Get in shape the inexpensive way. Grab a friend or two and book 30 minutes with your very own personal trainer, Mario or Lori.

Work out while your kids play!
Mon-Thurs 9am-11am June 14th -August 13th
Kids 3 & up $3/day or $10/week (cost is per family)
Let the kids come and join in a wide variety of healthy outdoor activities with our lifeguards such as soccer, swimming, or basketball while you work out in the gym.
