Outer Banks Baseball Academy

Kilmarlic Health & Racquet Club is home to the Outer Banks Baseball Academy. The Outer Banks Baseball Academy is run by former major leaguer Jim Dougherty who pitched in the Big Leagues for the A's, Astros, and Pirates. Private, small group or large group instruction is available. Instruction will be offered for many different aspects of the game, including strength conditioning, speed and agility, along with the mental side of the game for the high school aged player.

Jim Dougherty is currently coaching the First Flight Middle School baseball team. He will be available for private and group lessons as well as camps in the summer months.

Jim Dougherty's AAU team traveled to Cooperstown NY for an unforgetable baseball experience.
